​Long before stages lit his face or audiences echoed his words, Nate Hicks learned to listen. Growing up in Toledo, Ohio, with the spirit of Atlanta pulsing through his dreams, he heard music everywhere—rhythms in the hallway footsteps at school, melodies in the hum of late-night streets, harmonies hidden in conversations with family and friends. By early high school, curiosity pulled him into every corner of music. As a Firefighter/EMT with the City of Toledo, he served his community with the same passion he brought to music. Saving lives by day, bringing them joy by night. Few artists live dual worlds so fully—yet for Nate, it wasn’t a contradiction. It was another expression of love.
